Anyone who doesn't remember the 80's is GROUNDED.

Go to your rooms.

And? You're not allowed to play with my Dukes of Hazzard Wrist Racer.

I STILL HAVE A POPPLE. And a carebear poster. And a couple carebears.

I don't remember the seventies, though. I'm 19 days younger than MTV.

Someone who shall remain nameless (*coughERINcough*) asked me what a Popple was the other day.

If I could have reached through the computer and smacked her, I would have.

Also. We young and grounded ones need a club. And a clubhouse. And a secret handshake. Like the Famous Five.

Except there WILL be beer.

And omg that is NO REASON for taking away our beer. I've been able to buy it since I was younger than the age you had to be, so nyeaah!

little fluffy balls of fun that turn inside out into little weird looking fuzzy things with puffballs on their tails!

As I recall, they could pull, like, ANYTHING out of those pouches when they weren't ball shaped. . . .

Fun fact! I used to have a popple that turned into a flower. But I could never get the folding technique right on that one.

I wish I could say I remembered the seventies, but somehow the first 53 days of my life are a wee bit fuzzy.

By all reports, I spent the 70s drooling on myself and attempting to chew my own toes.

So ... not all that different, really.

Heh, I've met a few people who could say the same and not be referring to being very wee.

Okay, I'll allow that. A) because that's AWESOME, and B) because re-runs of 60s tv shows were a vital component of growing up in the 80s.

Also in this category: Batman, The Monkees, and numerous incredibly awful Hanna Barbera cartoons.

Oh, I loved the Monkees and those Hanna Barbera cartoons! Which I didn't see in reruns. ;)
